To give our traditional Pastillas a twist to make it more special by adding flavor and filling on it. To provide affordable yet scrumptious version of Pastillas. So indulge yourself with the right sweetness and mouth watery softness to satisfy your cravings.

Summary

Our traditional Pastillas is a Spanish word meaning "milk tablets" or "milk pills" which describes Filipino sweet delicacy. This is made from condensed milk with some mixtures to make it like a dough. The dough will be formed into small shape and coated with sugar.

We truly love eating sweets and experiment food. So we came up to this thought that we could start a small business without needing a big capital to start up. And the product we decided to sell is the Pastillas which is perfect and suits in our budget/capital as beginners in starting this business. But our Pastillas is special than the usual because of its unique taste and twist that we made by adding flavorful filling on it.

We found this very fun while we’re doing it and effective for as students as aspiring young entrepreneurs. And lastly, we ended up to our brand name “All About Sweets”, “Sweetness Is Our Weakness” – our tagline.

Procedures

1.      Combine powdered milk and condensed milk. Mix and blend evenly using a spoon.

2.      Set aside for 10-15 minutes before shaping.

3.      Shape into balls or mini logs.

4.      Wrap the Pastillas with cellophane or food paper. Shape into different shapes and insert a toothpick at the center.

5.      Point your index finger in the center of the Pastillas and put a Bavarian fillings and roll it.

6.      Roll in colored sugar to have a final touch.

7.      Arrange in decorative/colorful boxes for presentable packaging.

The duration in making Pastillas is 1 hour, wrapping and arranging included. With that period of time we can make 20 boxes containing 50 pcs each.

Our production place is at one of our groupmates house instead of renting some place, also to lessen our expenses. Our target market were not just for our family, friends but also to sell it online. So we can get customers through mouth referrals.
